About the Image

This fashion advertising image was shot in the Galleria (technically the name is Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II) in Milan, Italy for an Italian fashion accessory client. The Galleria is a covered 4 story shopping mall built in 1865 and finished in 1877.

From when I moved to Como, Italy, about 30 miles north of Milan, I have known about the Galleria and wanted to shoot there. When the client asked me about shooting this project, I told my client I wanted to shoot here. She worked for days before getting permission.
